More Information

What do I need to know about cancelling my subscription

You may cancel your services at any time and have the option to cancel the service:

  • Immediately. Services will cease approximately 72 hours from the submission of a cancellation.
  • At the conclusion of the subscription term. Services will cease on the last day of the subscription period.

In each case, the cancellation is always considered to have been initiated from the date of the cancellation submission.

Subscriptions that have not been cancelled will renew and customers are liable for any open invoices on their accounts.

You are advised to consider the cancellation of any services with us:

  • If services are no longer required.
  • When delegating or pointing the domains’ name servers to an alternative web host.

All cancellation of services are subject to the Terms and Conditions of the subscription.

Note: before cancellation, customers should ensure they have backed up their website files.

What information will I receive about my cancellation?

Upon cancellation, customers will receive a Tracking ID number (TID#), which is emailed to the current account holder. This ID is evidence of your cancellation request, and should be provided in the unlikely event that your account has been wrongfully charged.

Are refunds available on cancelled hosting services?

It is our policy to provide as much information as possible to customers about services and subscriptions when purchasing or renewing. Such services are established or renewed with the expectation that customers have made an informed decision about their requirements. Because of this, we cannot provide refunds on partially used and/or cancelled hosting services.

How do I delete a domain registration from the registry

Domain name registrations are purchased for a static period.  Generic Top Level Domains (gTLD) may be purchased for 1-10 years, while .au domains are purchased for 2 years only.  Domain names that are no longer required can simply be lapsed at their expiry date.

If the domain name must be cancelled for any reason prior to the expiry date, the domain name registrant must submit a written request to support@internetstack.com for the cancellation of the domain. The written request must include;

  • Organisations or companys listed as the domain registrant must submit their written request along with the legal letterhead of that organisation.
  • Individuals or sole traders must submit their written request along along with a copy of photo identification.
